WELCOME TO HIV AWARENESS
HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks cells that help the body fight infection, making a person more vulnerable to other infections and diseases. It is spread by contact with certain bodily fluids of a person with HIV, most commonly during unprotected sex (sex without a condom or HIV medicine to prevent or treat HIV), or through sharing injection drug equipment.

PURPOSE
This project is for raising awareness about HIV to reduce stigma, promote education, and encourage preventative measures and support for individuals living with HIV.

EDUCATION
To develop and implement educational campaigns to increase knowledge and understanding of HIV transmission, prevention, and treatment options among the general population.

DESTIGMATIZATION
Combat discrimination and reduce stigma associated with HIV by promoting empathy, tolerance, and acceptance of individuals living with the virus.

TESTING AND TREATMENT
We encourage regular HIV testing, especially for high-risk groups, and improve access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) for those who test positive, emphasizing the importance of early intervention for better health outcomes.

PREVENTION
To advocate for the implementation of comprehensive HIV prevention strategies, including the promotion and distribution of condoms, access to clean needles, and access to pre-exposure prophylaxis for high-risk populations.

SUPPORT AND CARE
Enhance support services and networks for individuals living with HIV, including counseling, mental health support, and social services, to ensure their well-being and quality of life.
